Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring?

Aside from the usual snacks, drinks, sunscreen, spare clothing, changing necessities etc that you need when out and about with little ones, we recommend you bear in mind that your child is likely to get wet and / or muddy so we’d suggest you consider wellies, a rainsuit / snowsuit in colder weather and / or a change of clothes.

Is there a discount if I book more than one child?

Yes, we offer a 50% sibling discount. The oldest child should be booked as a full price ticket but each subsequent child can be booked at the discounted rate.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We are an outdoor stay and play so we are outside in most weathers – including cold and wet weather! However, if we judge it too unpleasant we will use the hall itself as well so you will have the option of indoor and outdoor activities. The baby sessions may take place indoors only in the case of bad weather.

What Covid-19 precautions are in place?

We keep up to date with the Covid-19 requirements and guidelines and appropriate measures are in place. Please bring a mask with you if government guidance at the time requires one is worn.

Are drinks available?

Yes! We offer you tea or coffee (in cups with lids) and water and squash is available for little ones. These are provided free of charge. If you would like to bring your own cup, please do – just please make sure it has a lid on it for safety.

How many adults can attend with a child?

Now that Covid-19 restrictions have been relaxed, we are pleased to say two adults may attend for each child booked on. There is no additional cost. (If Covid-19 restrictions tighten again we may have to change this).

What happens if I can’t attend a session I have booked?

For single sessions, if you give us at least 7 days notice, we will provide a full refund. For block bookings, if you let us know that you can’t attend a session in the block (because you are on holiday, for example) at least 7 days before the block starts, we will also give a full refund. However, once the block has started, we will provide a refund for sessions you can’t attend, but this is subject to a £15 admin fee. This is purely because of the level of admin it causes us unfortunately.

If you give less than 7 days notice we are unable to provide refunds. Please refer to our full terms and conditions for more detail.

Can I bring a young sibling who won’t be participating?

Yes! Babes in arms are welcome free of charge if an older sibling is booked on.

Is the session suitable for children with disabilities?

Grove Hall has a disabled toilet and step free access. The grassy area may be tough going with wheelchairs, however. You are welcome to attend a session to try it out and, if you don’t think it’s suitable, we will provide a full refund. Please bear in mind that it is likely to be noisy and busy with children running around.

Are there baby changing facilities available?

Yes, we provide a cushioned changing mat to be used.

What happens if Wild Imaginations needs to cancel a session?

In the highly unlikely event we have to cancel a session, we will provide a full refund.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is free on street parking available. It can get busy so please allow yourself a few minutes just in case.
