Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring?

Aside from the usual snacks, drinks, sunscreen, spare clothing, changing necessities etc that you need when out and about with little ones, we recommend you bear in mind that your child is likely to get wet and / or muddy so we’d suggest you consider wellies, a rainsuit / snowsuit in colder weather and / or a change of clothes.

Is there a discount if I book more than one child?

Yes, we offer a 25% sibling discount. The first child should be booked as a full price ticket but each subsequent child can be booked at the discounted rate.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We are an outdoor stay and play so we are outside in most weathers – including cold and wet weather! However, if we judge it too unpleasant we will use the hall itself as well so you will have the option of indoor and outdoor activities. The baby sessions may take place indoors only in the case of bad weather.

What Covid-19 precautions are in place?

We keep up to date with the Covid-19 guidelines and have appropriate measures in place. Contact details will be retained for NHS Test and Trace and hand sanitiser will be available. Equipment is cleaned between sessions.

Are drinks available?

Yes! We offer you tea or coffee (in cups with lids) and water and squash is available for little ones. These are provided free of charge. If you would like to bring your own cup, please do – just please make sure it has a lid on it for safety.

How many adults can attend with a child?

Ordinarily, two adults will be allowed to attend with each child. While Covid-19 restrictions are in place, this is unfortunately limited to one adult per child’s place booked.

What happens if I can’t attend a session I have booked?

For single sessions, if you give us at least 7 days notice, we will provide a full refund. For block bookings, if you let us know that you can’t attend a session in the block (because you are on holiday, for example) at least 7 days before the block starts, we will also give a full refund. However, once the block has started, we will provide a refund for sessions you can’t attend, but this is subject to a £15 admin fee. This is purely because of the level of admin it causes us unfortunately.

If you give less than 7 days notice we are unable to provide refunds.

Can I bring a young sibling who won’t be participating?

Yes! Babes in arms are welcome free of charge if an older sibling is booked on.

Is the session suitable for children with disabilities?

Grove Hall has a disabled toilet and a ramp down to the grassy area so it is accessible. It may be tough going on the grass, however. You are welcome to attend a session to try it out and, if you don’t think it’s suitable, we will provide a full refund. Please bear in mind that it is likely to be noisy and busy with children running around.

Are there baby changing facilities available?

A padded changing mat is provided.

What happens if Wild Imaginations needs to cancel a session?

In the highly unlikely event we have to cancel a session, we will provide a full refund.

Is there parking available?

There is free on street parking available on Grove Lane as well as the Grove Park car park. It can get quite busy so please allow for up to a c. 200m walk.
