Meet the Wild Imaginations team

We are three Birmingham based Mums who became friends through our babies, all born September / October 2019.

We now have toddlers who were (literally in some cases!) climbing the walls during lockdown and who are happiest when they are out and about, usually getting muddy! We thought it would be great to have an outdoor environment where children could explore relatively freely and safely but out in the fresh air with natural resources. Better still, wouldn’t it be lovely if the parents could have a chat and a cup of tea with other parents at the same time… Mums who had babies born in Covid times and missed out on that, we salute you for surviving!

And so Wild Imaginations was born! By happy coincidence, the skills the three of us bring fit together like a perfect little jigsaw – Rosie is a fully trained primary school teacher, Amy is a professional photographer and all round creative whizz and Helen has a commercial background in business who makes sure this isn’t just an expensive hobby for us. Together we hope we have created a stay and play for Birmingham parents that offers a friendly and positive experience for children and parents alike.

We run stay and play sessions at Grove Tennants Hall in Harborne. The resources we use vary week to week but include mud kitchens, water wall, musical stations and sensory play kits in tuff trays. We use natural and recycled items as far as possible – no sensory overload of garish plastic here! Our ethos is to encourage children to explore, create and, most importantly, play.
